Delivery / Returns

Delivery Details

Due to our large stock holding we have hundreds of appliances in stock for quick delivery, many of which are available for next day delivery service. Our standard delivery timescale for stock items is 1-2 working days and when we book the delivery with you we can usually offer you a four hour timeslot, one hour pre-call from the driver or collection of key to access the property. Most of our deliveries are made during the working week. Occasionally we have to order items from the manufacturer which normally can extend the delivery to 7-10 working days but if there are any unforeseen delays we will be in touch by phone or e-mail to keep you informed.

Where do you deliver?

Most of our deliveries are based around Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties, however some appliances can be delivered to any UK Mainland address. All delivery areas and prices will be offered to you in the shopping basket depending on your product selection.

Can you Install?

The majority of all our appliances can be delivered and installed by us. All relevant delivery options depending on your product selection will be offered to you in the shopping basket, including the option to remove/recycle your old appliance and/or installation.
 
 
 
Returns Policy

Cancellation of a despatched item

If a customer chooses to return an item that has already been despatched, then they must do so within 28 days and meet the following conditions. (These do not include damaged or faulty goods, see below for those details.) 

• Goods must be unused and completely packaged
• Must come back with any free gifts or accessories.
• All goods are subject to a 15% return fee.

This does not affect your consumer rights. If you open the goods to inspect them, you can still return them within 7 working days following the despatch date. Then they must be repackaged to the closest point of ‘New’ as possible.

To cancel an item, simply notify our sales team by any of our usual contact methods.

On selling an item, Talmage’s always try and ensure that we meet your requirements and preferences. If we supply you an item that doesn’t do so, and you have made us aware of these needs then we accept responsibility and the return fee will not apply. However we still ask to make sure we are notified as soon as possible, and that are items are still unused and packaged as best as possible. In these circumstances if an item has been used, we still may not be able to accept a return. 

If an invoice has already been received for the goods, then a matching credit note will be raised upon the goods being returned to Talmage’s.



Cancellation of an Ordered Item Prior to Despatch

If an item has been ordered but has not been despatched, then you can cancel at any time. If an item has been ordered in that was a) out of stock b) not an item we would regularly stock, then a 15% return fee may be applicable



Damaged or Faulty Goods

If an item is found to be damaged or faulty then they can be returned. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. Please note that when we install an appliance we also test it to make sure that it is in full working order before we leave. If an item is at this point found to be either faulty upon test or damaged, then we will arrange to have the item fully exchanged or damaged parts (such as doors) replaced. 

If Talmage’s has not installed an appliance, we ask to make sure it is checked for damage within 7 days, as after this point we may not be able to accept a return.

If within 28 days (whether we have installed the appliance or not) it is found to be faulty, please get in touch with us regarding the matter and we will arrange for the appliance to be exchanged or rectified.

If the item becomes faulty after 28 days from the despatch date, then it will fall under the manufacturer’s standard 1 year warranty and you will need to contact them, and they will arrange with you what to do.

This policy does not cover accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.
